Title: UNDERSTANDING THE SERVANT AND HIS SERVICE (Pt 1 & 2)
Part 1
A true servant of God renders heart service, one compelled and motivated by love. He crucifies and buries self. A true servant understands that he rose to the position of service, not by merit or education but by grace. He receives his calling from God with fear and gratitude. A true servant knows it is a privilege to serve God and not a right. He realizes that the privilege of serving God is not to be handled carelessly to avoid fleshly corruption and defilement. A true servant understands the principles of humility as observed in the life of the Lord. He will not place position above service. He will not be pre-occupied with titles and positions at the expense of true service. He will learn from the example of Jesus and bend low and stoop down to serve the church.
Part 2
The believers’ talents are not to be laid up for self but laid out in service. Service to God requires sacrifice and consecration. Apostle Paul was a true servant with the right perspective of Christian service. He surrendered himself without any reservation for God’s service. Timothy was a distinguished Christian servant with Paul. He was not a selfish person who wanted to serve the Lord for personal gain. We can learn a lot from his true spirit of servant hood and readiness to serve the Lord at all cost. A unique quality that marks out the committed, consecrated and surrendered servants of God is that they are ready to go at the bidding of their master without complaints and questions. They do not lay any claim to themselves anymore, nor are they conscious of their talents or wealth of experience or position in the world. This teaching ends with six questions the Lord has for each of His servants. These questions are What, Where, Why, When, How and Who. To qualify as a true servant, you must be able to answer them satisfactorily.

Title: THE FOUR “R” s FOR THE NEW MILLENNIUM
In the 20^th Century, we have failed God in many areas. In the 21^st Century, the Lord wants us to take stock of all our weaknesses, failures, fears and defeats and run back to Him with a clean and humble heart. What are the 4 “R” s for the new millennium?
Repentance. Refreshing. Revival. Restoration. We are to turn from all unrighteousness and idolatry and turn to God with all our heart, soul and strength. When we have repented, refreshing will come from His presence. The fruit of repentance and refreshing will be revival. People will begin to call on the Name of the Lord. They will become conscious of God and will be eager to worship and serve Him. And the Lord will restore to us all that Satan has stolen from us. He will restore the joy of our salvation and our health. He will restore to us the years the locusts have eaten. He will restore double blessings to us. He will restore to us our rightful place and position.

Title: LOVE IN ACTION (Pt 1 & 2)
Part 1
In His message to the church of Ephesians in Rev. 2: 1- 5, the risen and glorified Christ Jesus, Who watches every action and service, and Who knows the motives behind what we do, said, “I have something against you.” Isn’t it strange to note that all the good qualities of the church of Ephesians put together were not satisfactory to the Lord without love? The Lord Who called the church of Ephesians to active love is by extension calling us back to love in action in this generation. Remember that the lack of love in a church cancels all effectiveness, glory and majesty of all the other good things in the church. The lack of love in our lives will render all other qualities in us useless and unacceptable to the Almighty God. Love must be the hallmark of our church life and ministry. It is the hub around which everything in the church revolves. The love of God we are to reflect is the love that lays down its life for others, the love that is grateful for the best in others, the love that seeks the welfare of others, the love that bears the burden of others and the love that deals honestly with others.
Part 2
This teaching deals with the service of love. The central thing in our service is love. Service without love will not be acceptable to God. We are to have love for the people we serve. It’s only through love that we are able to serve people better. We are to go beyond duty, beyond the sense of duty and begin to serve in love.
This teaching also covers the sacrifice of love. Learn from the example of Jesus Who loved the disciples to the very end despite the weaknesses He saw in them. He reaches out to us despite the faults He sees in us. We are to love despite the shortcomings we see in others. We are to reach out to all and not show any favoritism. Learn from the example of Moses who interceded for the people and committed himself to securing mercy on their behalf despite their wickedness and ingratitude. We are to love those who reject us, those who have done us evil.

Title: CHRISTIANS’ REASONABLE SERVICE (Pt 1 & 2)
Part1
This is a call to thorough examination of our service before God. Is the service we are rendering to God reasonable and acceptable?
The Christian’s reasonable service to God is service based on love, and not compulsion. It is service that is pure and holy, with no trace of bitterness, wrath, malice and hatred. It is service that is not conformed to the world in principle, practice, appearance or methodology. It is service that is not influenced by Satanic and demonic forces.
The Christian’s reasonable service to God is service marked by sobriety. It is service without hypocrisy. It is service with diligence and fervency. There is no slothfulness, no lethargy, no lukewarmness, no half-heartedness. It is service with the right attitude and motive.
The Christian’s reasonable service is service that contains some elements of sacrifice. It is service marked by dedication, consecration and self-denial. It is service that exercises endurance amidst hard circumstances.
Part 2
To serve God acceptably and reasonably, we are to serve Him on His own terms and conditions. We are not to serve Him at our own convenience. God is not interested in convenient service. He does not accept servants of convenience.
To serve God acceptably and reasonably, we are to give Him the best. We are to give Him the firstfruits, and not the leftovers. We are to serve Him sincerely from the heart and not offer Him a polluted or defiled offering.
To serve God acceptably and reasonably, we are to be holy. We are to depart from evil, from things that corrupt or defile us. God accepts nothing less than holiness.
To serve God acceptably and reasonably, we are to give of ourselves to Him first. We are to offer ourselves to Him before we offer our talents, skills, giftings, etc.

Title: FAITH IN ACTION (Pt 1 & 2)
Part1
This teaching brings out the difference between the realm of personal faith and the realm of servant’s faith. The personal level of faith is the faith, which a believer manifests in order to receive benefits from God for himself. Personal faith is only for one’s personal needs. Servant’s faith is faith that is laid out for service. It is faith that reaches out to God to meet the needs of others. 
In this teaching, you will look at various instances of personal faith as seen in the Bible. You will also look at instances of servant’s faith in demonstration in the lives of God’s servants such as Moses, David, Elijah, Daniel and the Apostle Paul. You will learn that these men who exercised servant’s faith were men whose lives, prayer, labour and service were marked by selflessness as they manifested their faith for others to enjoy, and not for their selfish purposes. You will also look at an instance in the Gospel where servant’s faith in action brought about forgiveness and redemption to a man lost in sin and sickness.
Let this teaching challenge you to take your eyes off yourself and start reaching out with servant’s faith to do the work of God. Let it challenge you to lay out your faith in 
service and be the person God will use to proclaim the truth and challenge the forces of Satan head-on.
Part2
This teaching takes a further look at the faith of a servant. The faith of a servant is that faith which is laid out in service to benefit other people.
It was the servant’s faith that led Moses to leave Midian and go to Egypt to deliver the children of Israel out of the land of bondage. Servant’s faith led him to leave certainty for uncertainty, the known for the unknown.
Caleb and Joshua exhibited servant’s faith when they returned from spying out the land. Servant’s faith caused them not to see the giants in the land but to see the greatness of their God so that they were able to encourage the whole nation of Israel to arise and take possession of what God had kept for them. Servant’s faith will not run from battle. Servant’s faith will contend with Satan and defeat him and take back what belongs to the people of God.
To manifest servant’s faith, we need to crucify self. We need to forget ourselves and begin to give God a selfless service. A believer centered on self will not be able to employ his faith to defeat Satan and set people free from captivity. Solomon’s faith led him to shut out all personal requests in his petition. His request was people-oriented, people-centered. The servant’s faith he manifested, pleased God and God granted him more than he requested.

Title: HOW TO SERVE AND SHINE FOR JESUS (Pt I)
Part1
The servants of Jesus must shine with His light. If our lives are not shining as light, we cannot serve the Lord. The servants of Jesus must live by the Word of God so that others will see the light of the Word in their lives. Their way of life must not contradict the light of the Gospel. As they shine for Jesus, their presence will reveal and repel the perpetrators of evil, and their lives will reprove the unfruitful works of darkness.
How are we to serve and shine for Jesus? Some of the factors that characterize such service are: reverence and godly fear, holiness, genuine love and humility, unpretentious and non-discriminating service, self-denial, selfless faith, extermination of all idols in our lives, sincerity and honesty, truthfulness in every aspect of our lives, not walking in hypocrisy, pretences or deception.
Part2
This teaching takes a further look at how we are to serve and shine for Jesus.
To serve and shine for Jesus, we have to live a life of separation. We have to separate ourselves from the things of the world, from things that pollute our lives.
To serve and shine for Jesus, our lives must testify to what we believe and confess. We are living epistles, read and known by all men. Our lives are the Bible they read.
To serve and shine for Jesus, we have to cultivate sensitivity in our service. We have to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, to His leading, to what God is saying, and to the feelings of others.
To serve and shine for Jesus, our service has to be with reverence. The fear of God in our lives will bring about God-consciousness. We will not do in secret what we don't do in public.
To serve and shine for Jesus, we serve Him with all our hearts giving Him our best. We work selflessly and tirelessly with all humility, not lording over God's people. We do not serve with double-mindedness or with eye-service.
To serve and shine for Jesus, we can't be pre-occupied with ourselves looking only for those things that profit us. We must forget ourselves and pursue the welfare of others, especially those in the household of God.
To serve and shine for Jesus, we have to watch the words we speak. We are to speak words that build others up, and not words that destroy them.

Title: AWAKE / ARISE FOR TOTAL RENEWAL (Pt 1)
Part1
Do you find yourself in spiritual slumber, lying dormant and caged up by satan? The command of the Lord to you today is to awake, arise and come to the Lord for total renewal. You are to awake from your sleeping position, from your compromises, from being just a church goer, from all the things that hold you in bondage. Do not remain in your inactive and dormant state. There is a race of faith to run. So arise and move on.
Have you lost the fire that used to burn in your life? Is lukewarmness setting in? Has your zeal for God's work waned? Is the fervency and power as of old all gone? Is the consecration and commitment of yesteryears no more and it appears like you are in the valley of dry bones? The Lord's command to you is to awake and arise in His strength and power to deter satan and his onslaught. The Lord Who caused the dry bones to come to life in times of old is able to bring you back to where you used to be. He can bring you back to your first love, to serve Him with the same zeal, same power and fire of the Holy Ghost.
A spiritually asleep and dead person is insensitive to what goes on around him. He does not know when danger is near. He does not sense it when the adversary of his soul is close by. He is not able to see the light of the Gospel even though the light is shining around him revealing glorious things of eternity. He cannot see the beauty and excellency of Christ. He cannot see the glory of Christian living and the victory in Christ Jesus. He does not see realities and always fantasizes deception.
To you who are spiritually asleep and dead, the clarion call of the Lord is to awake, arise for total renewal. Do not be passive. Do not be deceived. Run to Him for total restoration. Cast off all works of darkness. Walk not in revelry and drunkenness. Put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh.
Part2
Do you find yourself fast asleep in a ship that leads to destruction like Jonah? The storm of judgment was all around Jonah yet he was fast asleep. Shameful and terrifying death was near but he was unconscious. Danger was looming but he did not know. Are you fast asleep so that you do not know that danger is coming, you do not hear the sound of judgment, and you cannot understand the plans and purposes of God?
Are you a spiritually dead person swimming in the ocean of sin not understanding the gravity of God’s wrath, like the people in Sodom and Gomorrah? Fire and brimstone were about to befall the cities but they were ignorant. They rejected God’s preachers. They didn’t know destruction was close. They believed fantasies and failed to see realities. Or are you amongst those who looked back and perished like Lot’s wife though you have been warned to repent so that you will not perish with the ungodly? Do you long to go back to Egypt though you have come out of Egypt?
Are you like Samson who did not know when the Spirit of God had left him? Samson was fast asleep when his hair was shaven. He got up as before to fight the Philistines but the power was not there. He didn’t know the power of God had left him. Is the Spirit of God still operating in your life today? Do you still have the fire of God burning in your life today? Or do you find yourself under spiritual anaesthesia like Samson so that you are no longer sensitive to what God is saying, and to the environment of the Holy Spirit? 
Today God is calling you to arise from your spiritual slumber. Do not allow satan to put you where you are not supposed to be. Come out of your deplorable spiritual condition. Do not wander from the truth and sit in the congregation of the dead. Arise like the prodigal son and run back to God. Be in the congregation of the living and see the glory of the Lord in the land of the living.

Title: TRUE CONFESSION AND SALVATION
There are many people who claim to confess their sins but they are not born again. Why? Why do some experience the joy of salvation and others don’t? Why do some experience the victory that comes through salvation and others don’t?
The teaching in this tape on true and false confession will provide an answer to the above questions. You will look at the instances of confession in the Bible that are not genuine. Pharaoh, Balam and Saul made confessions yet they went back to their evil ways.
True confession is characterized by absolute sincerity. It will lead to a clean break from evil. Forgiveness is dependent on a true confession. True repentance demands a total separation from sinful associations. It is characterized by a change of lifestyle and relationships.
In true confession and repentance, one does not make excuses for one’s sins. One does not rationalize sins. A person who truly repents will get back to God promptly just like the prodigal son who arose and returned to his father in honesty and humility. True confession and repentance lead to true conversion. True conversion is characterized by strong commitment. It brings about an indescribable transformation that wipes away all bad habits.
Is your confession and salvation genuine? Are you just a churchgoer or are you a genuinely converted person? Let the Spirit of God search your hearts as you listen to this teaching.

Title: CONSECRATION AND SANCTIFICATION
Any person who professes to be born again and yet unsanctified is a Christian without victory over inward corruption, without purity of heart. A Christian who is heaven-bound must maintain holiness in his life, in his thoughts, in his words, in his actions, in his relationships.
Sanctification is a highly prized experience. Every Christian must hunger and thirst for it. Of all our possessions on earth, holiness and sanctification must not be removed from our lives. We have nothing to pass to the next generation except holiness and sanctification.
Consecration and sanctification helps to uproot all forces of Adamic nature in our lives. It helps us to remove all defilement, corruption and uncleanness within.
Consecration and sanctification will make us to be consistent, committed and devoted to the things of God. We will long for the Word of God. It helps us to continue in the Lord regardless of the situation we find ourselves in.
Consecration and sanctification removes every ulterior motive, negative nature, lip service and eye-service from our lives. It helps us to be gentle and transparent in everything we do. It eliminates the attitude of touchiness. It helps us to avoid easy irritation.
Consecration and sanctification makes us to become salt to our neighbourhood. 
It helps us to determine what the Lord wants us to do, where He wants us to go, how He wants us to approach matters of concern. It helps us to follow in His footsteps.

Title: THE GREAT COMMISSION AND SPIRIT BAPTISM
We desperately need heaven's anointing to do the work of God. We cannot reach out and proclaim Jesus as Lord to a world full of darkness and wickedness without the power and might of the Holy Spirit.
The important preparation we need before spiritual harvest is prayer. We need to go into the presence of God and hear a word from His mouth before we go forth and preach. It is not ordinary talking, preaching or quoting Bible verses that will convict the unbeliever and establish the young believer. It is the word that is backed up with the power of God that will bring conviction and touch hearts. It is the word you hear from the mouth of God that will break hardened hearts to receive the Lord Jesus Christ.
The power of God is for every believer. The power of the Holy Spirit in our lives will enable us to win souls, preach and teach effectively. The Holy Spirit gives us the right word at the right time enabling us to comfort the weary. The Holy Spirit destroys the works of the devil. Supernatural boldness in preaching is manifested by the Holy Spirit.
Cry out to God for an endowment of His power so that you can go forth and do the work of God. Put the Word of God into practice and see the power of God in operation in your life. The Lord wants to use our lives to manifest His power so that the world will know He alone is God. Be an instrument in His hands to plunder hell and populate heaven.

Title: LIFE AND DEATH IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE
Spoken words are like seeds sown, the fruit of which we reap sooner or later. Hence it is important that we choose the right word to speak. The will of God is for us to have abundant life, yet many are not having abundant life today because of the words they speak. Through the right use of the tongue, we can command blessings upon our lives, our families and other people. Through the right use of our tongue, we can encourage and build others up. However, when we abuse our tongue, we can rob people the blessings of God. We can discourage others and destroy lives. Through the abuse of the tongue, we can bring curses upon ourselves.
This teaching brings out Biblical examples of people who maintained good morals in their tongue, who spoke the right word and made the right declaration and saw the supernatural intervention of God in their situation. It also brings out Biblical examples of people who used their tongue wrongly and suffered disastrous consequences.
Do not allow Satan to use your tongue. Do not let your tongue become a stumbling block to others. Yield your tongue as an instrument of righteousness to God. Let it be a blessing to others. Speak what God's Word says you are. Begin to sow seeds of righteousness, seeds of love, seeds of grace. Maintain the law of kindness on your tongue. Speak words of life and live an abundant life.

Title: EXPOSING IDOLATRY, OCCULTISM AND SATANISM
Idolatry, occultism and satanism are the spiritual forces rampaging the world today.
What is idolatry? What is occultism? What is satanism? What does the Bible record about the practice of idolatry, occultism and satanism? What are the different forms of idolatry and occultism? What does satanism involve?
This teaching answers the above questions and brings out many references in the Bible pointing to God's abhorrence of the practice of idolatry, occultism and satanism. God forbids practices such as divination, enchantment, witchcraft, necromancy, familiar spirit consultation and seeking after mediums. God forbids the worship of saints and angels. Tattooing of any mark on our bodies is also forbidden by God in Scriptures. 
This teaching also deals with the cunning craftiness and cleverness of satan. An instance of his power of persuasion was when he managed to convince one-third of the angels to follow him in his rebellion against God. Satan has an unending craving to be worshipped. Remember he is an impostor, a deceiver and an enemy of our souls. He doesn't come to us in a frightful appearance. He transforms himself and comes like an angel bearing good tidings, but with hidden agenda. He offers people 'carrot stick' promises as long as they will fall down and worship him. Love is the greatest thing anyone can experience. It existed in heaven with God before the world was made. It was love that moved the heart of God to create the world. It was love that moved God to redeem man when he fell from grace. Whatever we know about God, if we do not know the love of God, we know nothing at all.
Everything God did for the children of Israel was because of His love. God delivered them, provided for them, protected them, preserved them, and brought them into Canaan. All these favours were bestowed upon them, not because they were mighty, many, noble, rich or vested with special qualities, but because God loved them. Likewise, everything God did for us is because of His love. All that we are today is because of His love. He has saved us from our sins, set us free from every bondage and captivity of satan, healed us, bestowed many blessings upon our lives, not because we merit it, but because He loves us.
We, who are recipients of God's unconditional love, love that we do not merit, ought then to express the love of God in our lives. We ought to express love to God, and allow His love to flow through us to touch others.
The love of God we are to manifest is to be an active love. This tape closes with a teaching on how we can express love to God, and to others. Who is our neighbour? How are we to love our neighbour as ourselves?

The unity God expects of us is a unity qualified with Christ-centredness. We are to speak the same thing, with the Bible as our standard, as our pattern. We are to raise high the banner of truth. This tape also carries a teaching on the causes of division in the church.

The early church was an evangelism pace-setter. It made evangelism its lifeblood. It gave evangelism the right priority. The believers in the early church were so sold out to the things of God that they did not count their lives dear to themselves anymore. Their zeal for the Gospel had so consumed them that they went everywhere, preaching the Gospel. The religious authority of that day tried all they could to curb the spread of the Gospel but to no avail.
The true church of the Lord Jesus Christ today is an evangelism pace-setter. The true church exalts the Lord and proclaims Him to a needy and hopeless world. The true church makes evangelism a priority. It utilises its resources for the spread of the Gospel. In contrast, a false church is characterised by ignorance of evangelism. It does not present Christ to the world. It is only concerned about self.
A false church is a selfish church seeking and receiving the blessings of God but fails to share the joy of salvation with others. A false church craves for material acquisition at the expense of caring for souls that are going to hell.
The Lord is calling you today to commit yourself to be an evangelism pace-setter. Let the zeal for evangelism so consume you that you begin to take your eyes off yourself and start to reach out in love and compassion to those around you. When you begin to preach the Gospel, the Lord will confirm His Word with the accompanying signs. You will see the power of God in demonstration, and you will experience the abiding presence of the Lord.

Title: THE LIFE OF SEPARATION
The calling of God to the church today is to live a life of separation. We cannot please God without living a life of separation. 
We are to separate ourselves from the world and the pollution of the world. We are to separate ourselves from worldly behaviour and character. We are to separate ourselves from all works of the flesh. We are to separate ourselves from moral and spiritual corruption. We are to separate ourselves from crooked ways, lying and manipulation. We are to separate ourselves from hidden sins. We are to separate ourselves from idolatry, occultism and satanism.
The life of separation keeps us close to the cross of Calvary and helps us to draw away from worldly identity. It draws us close to God and keeps us in the perfect will of God. When we live a life of separation, we become friends of God. We maintain holiness and live an unpolluted life.
The life of separation enables us to be heavenly-minded and earthly useful. It keeps us spotless in the world.

We are to live a blameless life and be truthful to all.

In this teaching, you will look at the ongoing battle we are in. The battle we face is not an ordinary battle. It is a spiritual battle. We do not fight against flesh and blood. He destroyed the evil works of satan against us so that the seal of satan in our lives is irrevocably removed. We need to put our eyes on what Jesus Christ has done for us on the cross so that we will not fall prey to satan and become victims in his hands instead of being victors in Christ Jesus.
The decree of Jesus on the cross, "It is finished!", spells an end to all hostility of the devil against us and signifies the completion of the work of redemption in our lives. All sicknesses and diseases have been dealt with. All our problems, whatever their nature, have been dealt with. Therefore, the blind will see, the deaf will hear, the dumb will speak, the lame will walk, and the barren will receive the fruit of the womb. All those bound by satan will be loosed.This is the conquest we have through Christ's crucifixion.
Let us reach out and possess the healing and deliverance that is ours because Jesus has decreed, "It is finished!". Let us live a life free from every bondage and captivity of satan because Jesus has decreed, "It is finished!". Let us live a life of victory in every area because Jesus has decreed, "It is finished!".

Title: INTRODUCTION TO BIBLICAL DOCTRINES
There is a need for systematic teaching in the church whereby believers understand the plans and purposes of God concerning eternal life. There is a need to teach the doctrines the Lord Jesus Christ has given us so that we understand the plans and purposes of God and His perfect will concerning our lives.
Biblical doctrines refer to biblical tenets of faith, what the believer of Jesus Christ believes, biblical creed, biblical rules, biblical teachings and principles. 
The doctrine to a church is what foundation is to a building. Without doctrine, the church cannot stand. Doctrine is the article of faith on which the believer's faith anchors. A believer's steadfastness and stability in the Lord is dependent on the firm grasp of the Word of God in his life. 
The Early Church understood perfectly the need to be grounded in the Word of God. They allowed the Word of God to be pre-eminent in their lives and ministries. As they embraced the truth of the doctrine of God, they experienced phenomenal growth. The truth of the doctrine brought about boldness, steadfastness and unity so that they were fearless in the midst of persecution. They were able to establish the new converts and confront the error of religious leaders because they embraced wholeheartedly the truth of the doctrine.
Today we need to hold fast the sound doctrine which God has given to us through our Lord Jesus Christ. Our faithfulness to the end depends on how much we abide in the doctrine. The salvation of our congregation depends on our understanding of the doctrine. The strength and weakness of a church depends to a great extent on the members' attitude towards the doctrine of Jesus Christ.
We are living in perilous times. The world is full of wickedness, error and deceit. False teaching and false doctrine in the church have caused many believers to become lukewarm or backslide. It has caused many to become worldly. It's time the church of Jesus Christ turns spiritually violent. Our main weapon of warfare is the truth embedded in the doctrine of the Word of God. A believer well-grounded in the truth will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. A believer whose faith is anchored on the sound doctrine of the Scriptures will not be tossed about by every wind of doctrine or every kind of false teaching.
The mission of the church as light to the world cannot be accomplished unless we embrace wholeheartedly the doctrine of God. A church that is ignorant cannot reach out to the world with the truth of the Word of God.
Let us unreservedly embrace the truth of the doctrine of God and not be deceived by the lies of satan. Let us earnestly hold fast the doctrine which God has given us through our Lord Jesus Christ so that we will not be manipulated by the teachings of false teachers who distort the Word of God for their self-aggrandisement. Let us stand firm on the truth of the Word of God for it's the truth that sets us free. Let us be firmly established in the doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ so that we will be totally fulfilled in every aspect of our lives and be thoroughly equipped to do what God has called us to do.

Title: THE AMAZING GRACE
This teaching takes you to Luke 15:1-27 to look at how God deals with us in His amazing grace. In each of the three parables mentioned in the text, the tragedy of 'loss' was overshadowed by God's love, which brought about the recovery of what was 'lost'. In each instance, value/importance was placed on the 'one' lost, and when it was found, there was great rejoicing. In His great love and mercy toward us, God always reaches out to us to save us from the destruction that is looming around us. 
In this message, you will also look at various instances in the Scriptures where you see Jesus dealing with individuals in a crowd. Jesus dealt with Zacchaeus, Bartimaeus, and the woman with an issue of blood as individuals in the midst of a crowd. These people did not allow natural hindrances or people to stop them from receiving a touch from the Lord, and their efforts were duly rewarded as they received what they sought for from the Lord. You will also look at various instances when God sent a special person to minister to individuals. He sent Peter to minister to Cornelius, Ananias to minister to Saul of Tarsus, and Philip to minister to the Ethiopian eunuch.
Let's remember that God always deals with individuals in a crowd. He is interested in us as individuals. In His grace, He reaches out to pick us out individually in the midst of the crowd to deal with us, and to do good to us. Individually, each of us is important to Him. Each of us is special to Him. 
What should be our response to His amazing grace in our lives? How should we respond to the Lord Who searches us out individually to draw us to Himself and to bless us? Let's love Him above all else. Let's allow Him to rule and reign in our lives, and let Him be pre-eminent in all things in our lives.

The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, and the only source of knowledge of the Almighty God to all men. It's the final authority concerning conduct and work. It's the authority mankind needs to embrace to live victoriously. It is the contact point between finite man and the infinite God.
In the Scriptures, the Holy Bible is referred to as the Holy Scriptures, the oracles of God, the book of the Lord, the word of God and the word of life. The central theme of the Bible is Christ and His work of redemption. To understand the Holy Bible, the first step is to know Jesus Christ and to accept Him as Saviour and Lord of our lives.
The Holy Bible is superior to any other book. Its influence upon individual lives and nations is overwhelming. It changes life. It makes life that is wretched and twisted to be totally free from captivity. It breaks bondages in the lives of people. 
No man can claim to be educated or can say he is complete without the knowledge of the Holy Bible. No man can live successfully without an adequate grasp of the Word of God. No minister is really qualified for the ministry of Jesus Christ without adequate knowledge of the Word.
The Holy Bible has ministry to believers and unbelievers. To the unbelievers, the Bible brings conviction to their sinful lives, so that they will come to repentance and faith in Christ Jesus. To the believers, the Bible makes them understand the perfect life God wants them to live. It reveals the condition of their hearts. It is food for the soul and medicine to the body and soul. It is the mirror that reflects their true image. It's a hammer that convicts our heart and a fire that refines us. It is the seed planted into our faith making us strong. It is the laver that cleanses us. It is the rain and snow that refreshes us. It is the power that creates life and faith. It is the power of God unto eternal salvation. It reveals the plans of God for us now and for life eternal. It is the testament to all people of all ages.
The purpose of the Bible is to reveal God to man, to reveal man's need of God and to show man the way to God. It reveals to man how to live faithfully. It reveals to man the divine benefits God has given us, such as salvation, sanctification, healing, deliverance and protection.
To enjoy the fullness of the benefits of the Word of God, we must remove hardness of heart. We must get rid of double-mindedness. We must remove pride and carnal mindedness. We must remove unbelief. We have to love God with a supreme love. We have to have an intense desire to know Him. It's our regular habit of prayer, and our resignation to the will of God and His Word that will enable us to discover the hidden treasures in the Bible.
Let us be willing to make personal sacrifices to study the Word of God. When we allow the Word of God to be pre-eminent in our lives, we will be victorious in everything we do in life. When we have the living Word in our lives, we will be able to subdue the devil. We will be a threat to satan and his kingdom.

Title: NOTABLE WOMEN'S MINISTRIES IN THE SCRIPTURES
In this teaching, we consider the general standard God has set for every ministry. Every ministry must maintain the nature of holiness. It must maintain good works. It must be clothed with humility and submission. It must be full of wisdom. It must be based on the Word of God. It must be ministry that is disciplined. Every ministry must keep the standard of God. Women's ministry is no exception. It must maintain godly standard and quality for it to be relevant.
Women's ministries in the Scriptures are grouped into 3 categories, viz., ministry in the home, ministry in the church and ministry to the world. In this teaching, we consider the example of the Shunammite woman who was sensitive to the needs of the man of God. She extended hospitality unselfishly and her household was blessed. We also look at the ministries of Deborah and Miriam who were used of God to impact lives. Deborah was a woman who held three offices. She was a chief military commander, a prophetess and a judge. Women wholly consecrated to God have great potential and abilities which can be tapped to be used for the glory of God. No woman needs to feel subdued. Women of all ages can be used of God to bring glory to His Name. 
The Bible abounds with examples of women whom God used to minister to Himself and to others. The woman of Samaria is an example and challenge to all Christian women in the area of ministry. After her encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, she went back and testified and won many others to the Lord. Mary Magdalene who first saw the Lord after His resurrection began to declare the good news of the resurrection to the weeping and mourning disciples. All women who have met the Lord must be actively involved to fulfil the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. As many women as are willing to arise and be instruments of righteousness in the hands of God to bring glory to His Name, the abiding presence of God and the influence of the Holy Spirit will always be with them. 
Let's remember that women are special. Women are special to God. God Almighty used a woman as a holy vessel to bring forth the Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Title: THE DOCTRINE OF THE "GODHEAD"
The doctrine of the Godhead is the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. The Holy Bible teaches that the Godhead consists of three separate, distinct and recognisable personalities perfectly united in one. These three personalities are God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. They are not just names. They are persons but united in one.
The Bible clearly teaches that each member of the Godhead is God. This teaching brings forth various portions of the Scriptures which declare that the Father is God, Jesus the Son is God and the Holy Ghost is God. 
God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost are three distinct persons co-eternal, co-existent, co-equal in power and have divine attributes that make each of them God.
The work of creation, redemption, sanctification and healing is done by the joint venture of God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The unity of the Godhead is scripturally evidenced in the execution of all divine plans. This teaching brings forth various Scriptures which show how God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost were involved in the work of creation, the incarnation of Jesus Christ and the ministry of Jesus Christ whilst on earth. Jesus also declared His companionship with God the Father and the Holy Ghost in the Gospels. It was by the combined working of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost that Jesus was able to fulfil His ministry here on earth. The work of redemption which Jesus Christ accomplished by submitting Himself to die on the Cross of Calvary was a joint venture of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The work of sanctification by which man is cleansed from inbred sin, from the fallen nature we inherited from Adam is also a joint venture of the Godhead. The Godhead is also at work in empowering every believer through the baptism of the Holy Ghost to fulfil the Great Commission.
The doctrine of the Godhead is a great mystery which is far beyond the understanding of the natural man. It takes the grace of God and the Spirit of God for us to understand the doctrine of the Godhead. We accept the gospel truth of the Godhead doctrine by faith.

Title: THE UNRIGHTEOUS STEWARD
This teaching takes you to two separate portions of the Scriptures to look at two instances of an unrighteous steward. You'll look at who an unrighteous steward is, what renders him an unrighteous steward, and the consequences of his deeds. You'll look at an instance of a man who went to hide the one talent entrusted to him by his lord in the ground and ended up a loser.
What are the characteristics of a loser? A loser always expects failures. He is always fearful. He wastes a lot of time in everything. He sees problems even where there is none. He complains about everybody. He seems to be busy but does nothing at all to improve anything. He is always on the lookout for people to fall. He translates a reality into dreams instead of translating dreams into reality. He always blames others for his failures. He talks about every issue but has no course of action. He creates more problems than providing solutions to problems.
What are the characteristics of an unrighteous steward? An unrighteous steward doesn't remember the truth of his calling. He is characterised by fearfulness. He abuses his body. He does not maintain sacred treasure. He is a selfish person who never cares about others. He lacks forgiveness and does not consider the words he speaks. He lacks accountability. He is not responsible to anybody. He has wrong priorities. He practises partiality. He is like a blind watchman who doesn't see through the eyes of God. He is ignorant of the truth, like a dumb dog who cannot proclaim the truth because the truth is not in him. He loves to sleep and slumber. He is like a greedy dog who never has enough. He continues in his evil ways, is selfish and self-centred, always looking for his own gain.
In this teaching, you will also look at five attitudes of a good steward. A good steward is watchful, keeping the sheep. He stands as a servant. He runs as a defender of good cause. He lies on the floor in penitence. He sits before God as a worshipper.
Allow the Spirit of God to search your heart as you listen to this heart-provoking message. Ask God to open your eyes to see areas in your life that could render you an unrighteous steward. The question each one of us has to ask ourselves in all honesty and sincerity before God is: Am I a righteous steward or an unrighteous steward?

Title: THE DOCTRINE OF THE "VIRGIN BIRTH OF JESUS"
The doctrine of the virgin birth of Jesus teaches us that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin. It teaches us about the miraculous conception of Jesus Christ by Mary the virgin who knew no man but was over-shadowed by the power of the Holy Ghost.
God was the first to unveil the virgin birth of Jesus when He referred to Him as the Seed of the woman in Gen. 3:15. Denying the virgin birth of Jesus is by implication denying Christ's deity.
This teaching takes you to various portions of the Scriptures to establish unequivocally the authenticity of the virgin birth of Jesus. You'll look at various portions of the Old Testament which prophetically foretold the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. You'll also look at various portions of the Gospels which state very clearly that Jesus Christ was conceived by a woman who had not known a man. Joseph had nothing to do with Mary in the physical sense until Mary had brought forth Jesus. To announce the birth of Jesus, the angel Gabriel was sent to a virgin betrothed to a man, but who had not known a man. After this announcement, Mary herself said, "How can this be, since I do not know a man?" (Luke 1:34) Various portions of the Scriptures point out that the conception of Jesus was the power of the Holy Spirit. No man was responsible for it.
Throughout the Scriptures, Jesus had always referred to God as His Father. He never referred to any mortal man as his father, not even Joseph. This is another authentic proof of His virgin birth.
The Bible also states that Joseph was a just man. The Scriptures would not have qualified him as a just man if he had physical relationship with Mary before marriage for then he would have transgressed against the law of God.
This teaching also brings out the importance of the virgin birth of Jesus. The virgin birth of Jesus is essential to our faith because it's only through the miracle of the virgin birth that Christ can be fully God and fully man simultaneously. Without Jesus being born of a virgin, we couldn't have been saved. Without the virgin birth, Jesus cannot be the new Adam. Without the virgin birth, Christ will not be sinless and perfectly obedient to the law of God on behalf of sinners like us. Christ became the payment for our sins as One Who is both God and man. God will not accept any payment other than a pure and perfect payment, a sinless person. It takes a sinless person to die on behalf of a sinful people. Without Christ being both God and man, our hope is in vain.
Let this teaching anchor you on the truth of the virgin birth of Jesus. The virgin birth of Jesus is real. Do not be deceived by the many false teachers and sinning scholars today who use their natural mind to comprehend the things of God and are denying the virgin birth of Jesus. Judgement awaits them unless they repent.

Title: THE SPIRAL DOWNTURN OF CHRISTIANS
Can a Christian or a minister of the Gospel face a spiral downturn in his spiritual life? What are the factors that can bring about the downturn wave? What are the factors that can cast cold wave upon the life of a Christian to cause him to be doubtful of the Word of God, to be doubtful of the love of God, to be doubtful of the grace and mercy of God?
Some common factors that can bring about the spiral downturn in the life of a Christian are disappointment due to unmet expectations, dejection, demoralization and apathy, and discouragement due to disagreement. In his epistles, the Apostle Paul also listed some factors of the spiral downturn according to his own experience. Some of these factors were: tribulations, necessities, distresses, stripes, imprisonments, tumults, labors and sleeplessness. In various portions of the Scriptures, he listed his many sufferings as a minister of the Gospel and bondservant of Jesus Christ.
How should we conduct ourselves in the midst of trials? This teaching takes you to the epistles to look at the Apostle Paul's antidote to spiral downturn factors: patience, purity, knowledge, longsuffering, sincere love, the word of truth, the armor of righteousness in both our hands, and depending solely on the power of the Holy Spirit to defend and fight on our behalf.
Christian maturity is achieved through trials and difficulties. God's grace is discovered to be sufficient especially through suffering. Divine power is manifested in the lives of those who are humble. The marks of a genuine leadership authority are found in humility, in suffering and in weakness. The suffering Servant, the Lord Jesus Christ, provides the model for our ministry and maturity. God has always proven that He is strong in our weaknesses and sufferings.
The Apostle Paul did not allow his ordeal of trials and sufferings to bring his faith down. Upon all that he went through, he declared in his writings that nothing would be able to separate him from the love of God. Likewise, let us not allow the spiral downturn syndrome to bring us to the valley of despondency for we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus Who loves us.

Title: THE DOCTRINE OF THE TOTAL DEPRAVITY/SINFULNESS AND GUILT OF ALL MEN
Man was created in the image of God, in the righteousness and holiness of God. He was the crown of God's creation. However, through voluntary disobedience and transgression, man fell into the depths of sin and the image of righteousness and holiness in man was marred. As a consequence of the fall of man, everyone born through our first parents (Adam and Eve) became a sinner, lost in iniquity and utterly void of the holiness of God. By inheriting the nature of sin, man became depraved, totally inclined to evil. The entire nature of man, mentally, physically, morally and spiritually, became affected by the power of sin.
The Scriptures describe the fallen nature of man in various terms. Jesus our Lord refers to sinners as 'swine' and 'dogs'. The Apostle Paul refers to them as 'dogs' and 'evil workers'. John the Baptist and Jesus Himself refer to them as 'vipers'. The Scriptures characterize unregenerate man as being treacherous and full of iniquity. Their thoughts are thoughts of wickedness. Their hearts devise wicked imaginations. Wasting and destruction are in their paths. They are full of envy and covetousness.
Man is conceived in sin and grew up in sin. By nature and habit, man is a sinner. As a result of the fall of man and the nature of sin inherited, man became separated from God, totally alienated from the perfect and holy and pure God. This separation brought curses upon his life. Sorrow and shame crept in. Fear, insecurity, heartaches and manifold problems, spiritually and mentally, crept into his life.
There is absolutely nothing sinful and fallen man can do to commend himself to a righteous and holy God, except that he comes through Jesus Christ. God in His great love and mercy made provision for the redemption of mankind by sending Jesus. By the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the sinless and perfect Son of God, on the cross of Calvary, mankind was redeemed from the curse of the broken law. The sacrifice of Jesus brought about the removal of guilt and condemnation of sin, and the full redemption of man from sin. 
The natural man cannot resist sin. The power of sin over natural man can only be broken by the Lord Jesus Christ. It's the blood of the sinless Son of God that can set mankind free from sin. The Almighty God demands repentance from every sinner to avail himself of the provision of redemption from sin through Christ Jesus.
The call of God to man today is to embrace the work Jesus Christ has done on the cross of Calvary for the redemption of mankind from sin. Repent today from every wicked way and receive the forgiveness of God. Be reconciled to God and live a new life in Christ Jesus.
