MINISTRY: CHILDREN'S CHURCH
The Sunday
School Department believes that each child has a God-designed
destiny to fulfill in his/her life. The word of God in Judges 2:
10-11 talks about “another generation grew up, who knew neither
the Lord nor what he had done for Israel. Then the Israelites did
evil in the eyes of the Lord…” The Sunday School is burdened that
the children should know the word of the Lord and walk in His way.
The fear of the Lord must be upon them so that they will always
choose to please God.
Above all else,
we pray that the children will have the desire to be in the presence
of the Lord, to know Him and to obey His voice.
Vision: To inculcate the
children to be like:
1) Samuel - one who hears the voice of God and has the courage to
speak the truth.
2) David - one who knows his rights, who takes his stand against
those who mock the name of God and who has the moral courage to
accept, acknowledge his wrong and to run back to God.
3) Jesus - one who has a heart of compassion and an ever forgiving
attitude, who is so focused to do the will of God the Father and
humble at heart. |
