MINISTRY: CREATIVE ARTS
As we drew
near to our DLCC's 1st Anniversary, a group of us decided to present
a dance item to the Lord. Hence we gathered together for practise
and finally a dance comprising of tambourines, twirling flags and
flags was presented on 5th Nov 2000.
It was a rejoicing event for us to celebrate God's goodness. And it
was through this simple act of love that our DLCC Creative Arts
Ministry was officially formed on 26th Nov 2000.This ministry has
grown into a six section ministry today.
Creative Arts
Ministry comprises of Banner, Dance, Decor Props and Costume, Mime
sections and The Acts.
Vision
a) Exalt
To glorify and lift the Precious Name of Jesus higher through the
ministries of the Creative Arts so that others may know Him and in
turn make Him known and to allow the Holy Spirit to use our Creative
Arts Ministry as God's instrument to usher in the Presence of God
and to manifest His Glory.
b) Evangelize
To utilize the Creative Arts as a medium of expression to bring the
Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unsaved and unreached, healing to the
broken hearted and setting the captives free.
c) Exhort
To encourage the Body of Christ to experience and be enlightened in
the operations of the Creative Arts Ministry in the aspects of
healing, deliverance, prophecy, warfare and the message of salvation
in addition to being used for Praise and Worship.
d) Edify
To edify the Body of Christ with training in the Creative Arts in
order to enhance and encourage them to serve God in the spirit of
excellence, so that they will be effective in accomplishing the work
of the Kingdom of God that is entrusted into their hands.

and enter into the joy of our Lord."
